Antamedia Medical software helps with medical billing, appointment scheduling, electronic medical records. It`s a solution for efficient, reliable and modern managing of a medical institution.
Pros: This application is a an integrated solution for efficient and reliable operation of a clinic, hospital or a medical practice. The package allows management of appointments, bills, patient records, statistics and set up. Organized as client server architecture, the application allows managing distributed organization. Whether parts of the organization are distributed or the practice consists of multiple clinics, it works for both. With patient records, managed care control, billing and profit control, management control, detailed reports, statistical information, database of provided examinations and services, the overall administration become quite easy.
Management of personnel functions such as adding or updating consultant roster or the lab associates are provided. Multiple security levels allow organizing access rights and available data for consultants, lab technicians or administrators. The interface is really very extensive. It is easy to use and pretty intuitive, though it would need a bit of familiarity with the domain area.
The interaction with the package is very extensive and takes care of details of most transactions.Cons: Many patient records are graphical. Means for storage or viewing them during consultation is not provided. Integrating these would have added value to the package.
Bills receivable management is a crucial part of managing a business. While old bills records are available for viewing, there are no automatic reminders for bills that remain unpaid after the due date. Updating bills paid data is not linked directly to payments received. It’d have been nice to have the bills received data update as check are received at the accounts.
Overall: Fairly easy to set up and use, the application is quite useful for medical practice organizations. Overall a 4 star performer.
